Indian Tree From Coalport

Isn’t this the loveliest tea cup? Super pretty! This beautiful cup and saucer tea set is from Coalport, a porcelain factory in England founded in 1795. This particular tea set was manufactured probably sometimes in the 1920s – 1930s in England in the Indian Tree pattern which was a very popular pattern during the last half of the nineteenth century. The pattern includes the crooked branch of a tree and a partial landscape with exotic flowers and leaves. Green, blue, and pink were the favored colors used in the design. The Coalport China factory created the Indian Tree design in 1801 and it was one of the most popular designs made by the company. You can find it in my store here.

The cup stands about 2 ¼” tall with a 4” diameter, while the saucer measures approx. 6” in diameter. This set is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks and no fading in the colors. I only have one set available for sale in my Etsy store here.
