The English Know Best

You can drink your tea or coffee from one of those cheap metal teapots you find these days in the store or you can do it the right way, in a vintage English teapot like this one:

I came across this beauty in one of my recent hunting trips in Long Beach and knew right away that I had to get it for my Etsy store. It is a beautiful English teapot made probably sometime between 1940s – 1960s and it features a stunning pink and yellow rose design and gold rims. The gold and the roses are really bright and vibrant!! This is really a stunner!

This teapot stands approximately 5 inches tall with lid on and is about 9 inches wide from spout to the end of handle. It can fit up to 3 3/4 cups of liquid. It is in great vintage condition, no cracks or chips, and no fading of any of the colors and gold. Its age is betrayed only by teeny tiny little superficial cracks in the lusterware, barely visible and which do not distract from its beauty.

This teapot is a great collector piece and addition to one’s china collection. This also makes a great bridal or housewarming gift! You can find it in my store here.

Until next time…
