About Me

Unlike others I am one without particular artistic talents or hobbies. You know, some can sing or draw and paint, or make things with their hands, while others have life-long hobbies and interests like working out, camping or something. I have none. I tried a little bit of everything: swimming, tennis, ballet (I stood on stage once with some petals on my head faking a flower), piano, guitar, theatre (I actually love this one but life took a different turn), writing poems, the list goes on and on. I sucked pretty much at all of them, either due to my lack of interest or simply because I sucked. So it always bugged me when I went on dates that I had nothing to tell guys when they asked me the most annoying date question ever: “So, what do you like to do for fun?”. Ugh just shut up already! My most dreaded moment of dating. Because trust me, telling guys that you like cooking and reading does not get you many follow up dates. So now I’m *** years old and I still can’t really name one! But I figured that that must be precisely my hobby – an ever changing hobby for hobbies (surely, you can easily tell by my constant hair changes). So today it’s blogging time. I really hope this lasts me a while because so far it’s a cool creative outlet.

And this is me with my fiance who seems to love me and all hobbies:

  1. Hey Anda! Thanks for following my blog. I can totally identify with the lack of amazing skills or talents. I am a nurse and am pretty good at that. I am foodie but hardly the best. I can’t sing, dance, dress like a movie star, or play sports. It’s so wonderful to meet someone like me. Your blog is awesome. Can’t wait to see what else you post.

    • And we are using the same theme page:) I keep looking through your recipes and I’m so happy I found you. I see a ton of stuff that I know I would really like and I’ve been looking for new stuff to try! I’ll let you know how they turn out. I think the quinoa salad will be first! 🙂
